What have I been reading recently, What I believe about twitter and why blogging is the best.
I have been reading a lot of great new blogs recently. I am unconvinced about all the twitter flap. I still love blogs and have over 1000 in my feed reader.
The key part of blogs is that you can find hidden jewels, and they are from individuals that really like to put pen to paper.
Sure you can chance some groovy souls on twitter. But, seriously, twitter is for people with attention defecit disorder or who dont like to write normal posts. Yes, rafts of people twitter and also blog, and those people are stylish by me, but I am always and evermore a blog devotee.
Blogs draw the author to in reality articluate their thought. Twitter however merely allows you to submit it. Call me old fashioned but I imagine there is a point where smaller is no longer greater. We have been obsessed with miniturization for so long. Particularly when it comes to technology. Certainly there has to be a place where we realize substance counts. Value matters. What do you believe?
Maybe the realistic answer rests in balance. And compromise. You cannot force individuals to have heart and soul and not be shallow. But, too possibly you need to drive the neo libral hippies to lighten up a bit too?
